"We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year's Day. ~ Edith Lovejoy Pierce
The debut of our New Year's Table Setting..........for Judy (aka "fotoeffects")
Imitation is suicide; these are my original designs/creations and themes. Please do not recreate or copy and use them as your own. Why be a "cheap copy" when you can create a "designer's original?"
This year, I solicited the help of my SmugMug friends for color combinations for our New Year's (2013) table setting. And the story goes like this......
Last month, Judy (aka fotoeffects) suggested red, chartreuse, and hot pink accents for our December Christmas table setting. On the other hand, Karen (aka Kjakes1) suggested red and gold. Although I finally decided upon purple, lime green, silver, and black - colors suggested by fellow SmugMugger Nelli and Shelia ( a colleague), I still created a table setting in Karen's suggested color scheme and felt up to the challenge of creating one in Judy's suggested color scheme, too. For this one, I tried to create a different arrangement of the ornaments for each plate.
