Iwo Jima Memorial Hands - Infrared
Memorial Day Weekend I was in DC for a work conference. On Memorial Day itself, a friend of mine and I got up to shoot the memorials at sunrise. We decided on the Marine Corps War Memorial, or Iwo Jima. For some inexplicable reason, all of my infrared shots from that day disappeared. Fast forward a week and a half or so and I found myself back at Iwo Jima at sunrise, to reshoot. It's a good thing I lost those shots from the first outting, otherwise I would not have taken this one (the first time I didn't focus on the hands). Black and white conversion from infrared.
