Tuesday, March 12, 2013 "WEDDING DRESS AND VEIL" "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one." ~ Genesis 2:24 (KJV, The Bible) Ruffles, ruffles, and more ruffles!!! Saturday, we attended a wedding that was both beautiful and spiritual. I didn't have my "big girl" camera; so, this was the best photo among the few that I took. This is a photo of the back of the bride's dress and veil as she was being escorted down the aisle by her father. Her wedding dress was among the most beautiful wedding dresses I had ever seen; and the veil looked to be about ten feet long.....seriously. Most importantly, everyone could sense the love between these two young people who are, along with their parents, devout Christians. From the soloists, live music with strings and horns, the simplicity of the decorations, to the words of the minister, God was truly exhalted and glorified at this church wedding. The peacock was the wedding colors/theme. The bride/groom arrived in a white stretch limousine at the reception, which was held in one of the dining halls of a five-star restaurant for RSVP guests only.
