Lady Guinevere poses with her mouse.

Have a question: I've been taking photos with this same camera for 14 months now... that's approximately 20,000+ pictures not counting the deleted ones. It's beginning to really give me troubles with high noise even at ISO 80. Any ideas on what to do (besides upgrade)? Does it need some kind of cleaning? I've never owned a camera that I cared enough about to have it serviced. LOL!

Thought I'd ask y'all first before taking it into one of our local camera shops. Thanks to anyone who can help!

Will be back in town this weekend and hope to catch up on comments then.

well... here is Alexandria, she is a little orphan kitten that we are caring for now.. her mother was killed on our electric fence a week ago. I've seen the cat around our house.. didn't ever know she was even pregnant... a week after I found her dead my wife looked out of our bedroom window and saw 4 tiny kittens running through our yard... we didn't know what to do! 2 days later I'm doing yard work.. haven't noticed any of the kittens lately... we were hoping that the people who owned the lot next door found them... I'm about to crank my weed eater and I hear cries.. I look under my truck and this little kitty comes running and stops at my shoes.. she is now ours. As for the rest of them.. I haven't seen them.

Miss Audrey Fuzzburn sometimes can be very unladylike when she deliberately blows raspberries in the direction of the photographer. :-)

Because I'll be out of town for the next few days, you're going to have to suffer through some archival shots. This was taken back in August of Ivory looking especially sorrowful...

On another note, we acquired 4 more cats and kittens yesterday for a total of 10 that we're now safe-housing. What on earth were we thinking when we agreed to foster that many?!?

Yesterday I did a volunteer outdoor "photo shoot" of sorts for a woman who's looking after a very young all white momma cat and her all black kitten who's about six weeks old. Someone apparently dumped them just before the kitten was born. :-(

Am hoping the pictures I took will help get them adopted soon, as all our rescue group's foster homes are full to overflowing with homeless kitties and cats right now.

Of course my hot shoe flash chose that exact moment for the batteries to die. I even had a spare set on hand, but these two were constantly moving and I didn't want to miss anything, so I relied on the on-camera flash and natural lighting. Still, out of more than 150 pictures, only about 12 were truly usable. Thank goodness for PS Elements 6.0! :-)
