Capturing "Life Moments"

Encouraged by my wife. Motivated by my daughter. Inspired by my grandfather.

At the age of 14, I had a photography class in high school and needed help figuring out all that there was to figure out regarding photography. My grandfather had a great deal of experience in photography and chemistry, as well as many unique photographic experiences with renowned photographers over his years.

With a camera on loan from my high school, a dark room in my grandfathers basement, my desire to learn and his willingness to teach. I have been continuously pursuing this passion of mine since that first fall day in Stillwater, MN with my grandfather.

Photography has been a vehicle that formed a bond with my grandfather and I, which would most likely not have happened otherwise. I cherish the time we had together and will continue to do my best to apply all that he has taught me about photography and life.

Living in Southern California since 1996, I have enjoyed capturing special moments and making photographs of my clients, as well as all that California and other destinations around the world have to offer. I've had the privilege of capturing many "Life Moments" through photography, thanks to the experiences I've had with my grandfather. Pure joy, fulfillment and satisfaction is found when I'm able to capture "Life Moments" for others. Seeing their reactions to my images is priceless. I look forward to capturing the same for you.

Photographs help to make memories unforgettable. Babies change by the day. Capturing their first year is so important. In order to do so, I offer a “First Year” package that includes newborn, 4, 8 and 12 month sessions.

Wedding, Engagement and Special Event Photography: I enjoy the opportunity to capture special occasions in candid, formal and artistic styles.

Lifestyle, Fashion, Boudoir & Fine Art Photography: I continue to work with many experienced models and clients and am open to all creative ideas and concepts.

Landscape & Travel Photography: I’ve had the opportunity to travel to some beautiful destinations around the world. In those travels I’ve captured images that many have chosen to place in their homes as art.
