This was our last official day at NAB! We visited the show floor once again and revisted all of our favorite booths one last time. Chris and I wandered around Vegas this evening in search of a good dinner spot. We originally wanted to eat at TAO, but reservations were filled up before we even left the hotel. Instead we ended up at Gilley's. Nothing special there, really. It was weird because it's apparently Lady's Night, and as we left we passed the dance floor. There's no way any of the women dancing were doing so for free.
On our way back to the monorail we passed the Mirage volcano and decided to hang around for the next show. I'm glad we did! It's a pretty cool spectacle. About 10 minutes before it started a massive crowd of people appeared from out of nowhere and packed tightly around us on the sidewalk.
The last interesting thing we did was stop at a little ice cream shop as we walked through Harrah's to the monorail. They had these frezzing plates where they pour the ice cream ingredients and toss them around until they are frozen solid. Basically it's like Benihana for ice cream. Sweet!
