Oakdale, Mass. - The Last Circus Train
CSX engines lead Pan Am Railroad's last circus train. The engines are on a stone structure that looks like a dam but is in fact a stone arch bridge. Due to high water the arches are under water. The Quinapoxet River empties into the Stillwater River here. The 2 rivers feed the Thomas Basin which feeds the Wachusett Reservoir. Note the old stone church in the far background which was abandoned when the reservoir was built.
