"Galactic Entrails" '66 Ford Galaxie 500. Got up at 1:30 am and drove 35 miles to get this shot. The Milky way didn't line up quite the way I'd hoped. This was at about 3:30 am during a new moon phase. At 4 am the Milky Way would have lined up better(further to the right) but right after this it clouded up precisely as the forecast predicted. By 4:30 it was getting too bright to capture the Milky Way. So there's a very short window of time to make this work. Was it worth loosing sleep over? Absolutely! The night sky along with the coyotes and meadowlarks early morning calls made this a very magical outing.
