This morning, Michael and Ahna joined me at Harvest House to shoot a yoga class that Karma Yoga holds there twice a week. The instructor was extremely cool and accommodating, as were the people in the class. I can tell you right now that if I was taking a yoga class (unlikely), I would definitely not let you come in and film me while I stuck my butt up in the air. Nope!
After the shoot, we decided to walk over to Pedro’s for lunch. On the way there, Ahna made an off-hand joke about how it would be funny if they were closed when we got there–we always joke about how the place is doomed to fail, despite having great food. As luck would have it, we approached the door and found a sign from the uniform rental company to the owner of Pedro’s. They wanted their uniforms back. The door was locked and the place was shut down. Such a bummer! Especially considering that we had walked through some freezing wind to get there. We had Flatlanders instead. I hope that place will lasts!
I talked to a lawyer this afternoon about a photo of mine that has been widely used without my permission. We’ll see how all that goes. Then, after work, I met with Angilee’s friend Jana about a video performance art thing I’ll be doing with her. It seems like it’s gonna be a fun gig! Jana is super nice too.
Brandon came over tonight to hang out. We had dinner at 940’s and made cookies at the house. I offered to make some of those tasty adult root beer floats for everyone, but I quickly realized that that Red River bourbon cream stuff… yeah apparently it’s supposed to be refrigerated after you open it. I poured two floats and noticed that the cream wasn’t combining with the root beer. Instead, it was just tiny clumps floating around in there. The floats tasted awful and I ended up pouring a ton of alcohol down the drain. Sad face. :(
