What female lion wouldn't like their guy to smell like fresh elephant poop?
The next morning while riding about, our tracker came across this young male lion just laying out in the open, just like a house cat. We were very surprised that the tracker was able to drive us as close as 30 yards without any apparent concern by the lion.
The cut on his left front leg shows that life in the bush isn't always so easy!
This big guy was very accommodating by presenting us with some nice poses. Beautiful creature.
