There are two lion statues (amazingly enough just after you leave the lion area!) that were contributions to the zoo. I love all the statuary at WPZ.

It's not just the males.
The most I've ever seen a lion move at the Zoo.
He looks lazy now... but in a moment, he'll get riled up and go for a walk.
