As the tide kept coming in while I was at Long Reef Point Beach (Sydney Northern Beaches), I noted that this more distant point still had some reef exposed. Made my way there and started shooting long exposures because I liked the way the reef "wrinkles" looked in the light just after sunrise but kept looking nervously left as my way back to the beach was quite rapidly getting submerged. As it turned out, it was only knee high when I finished. You can see the white breakers at the edge of the reef. This shot is looking south and Manly/North Head can be seen in the far distance.
