These images the Royal Air Force Aeroatic Team (RAFAT) the Red Arrows perform a flypast over Kuala Lumpa (KL) city centre around the Petronas towers.
The Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team, the Red Arrows, are carrying out their biggest overseas tour in a decade.
More than 20 displays and a series of flypasts will be performed across the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions by the world-renowned display team. The major tour, which will take two months to complete, will see the Red Arrows perform in China for the first time ever.The aims of the tour include broad international engagement and support to the Global Britain campaign.It will also contribute to the UK government’s GREAT initiative and showcase the best of British innovation, creativity and industry.Flypasts, displays or associated ground activities are planned in Pakistan, India, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Thailand, Bahrain, Oman, Abu Dhabi and Kuwait.
Beginning in late September, the tour is expected to see the Red Arrows return to the UK by early December.
The Red Arrows showcase the excellence of the RAF and represent the United Kingdom both at home and overseas.
The team consists of nine display pilots and more than 100 support personnel and technicians.
Flying Hawk T1 jets, the team is based at RAF Scampton in Lincolnshire.
