As the sun battles the low clouds in San Diego, a sailing boat catches the last rays poking through the clouds with a backdrop of the Coronado Navy Base and Point Loma.

After the photo walk last weekend, Howard and I stopped off at a new location for me.  Rather than drive out to the tip of the peninsula to Adler Planetarium, we turned South, down the road past the parking lots.  From here, you can shoot back at the city over Burnham Harbor. While there, we ran into Brian Weller from the photo walk shooting the same thing.   Lake County PhotoEXPO I want everyone to know about a fantastic event coming up in June.  The Lake County Photo Club is holding its first PhotoEXPO in Grayslake on June 9th.  From the looks of things, this is shaping up to be one of the best photo expos in the Midwest. Canon will be sending two Explorers of Light to speak, George Lepp and Hanson Fong, along with many other phenomenal teachers. There are workshops, classes, and lectures throughout the day.  The expo costs $80 plus $5-$10 for extra workshops. Go to the PhotoEXPO site to register for the event.  I hope to see you there.
