I’m in the process of framing one of my fine art panoramas, a pretty classic shot of Mesa Arch at sunrise. I took the shot while winter camping in the middle of January last year in the Island in the Sky District of Canyonlands National Park. It was a tad chilly hiking to the arch before sunrise. At around 20 degrees and my hands weren’t too cold until I got there and started working with my equipment. To capture this panoramic view I shot a succession of twelve images and then stitched them together in Photoshop. I’m splitting the print and matting it into two separate frames that will go along side each other and will end up being about five feet wide. I’ve used another Mesa Arch panoramic image with the sun flaring under the arch for a largeDaniloff Photography advertising banner.
