A Utah ski resort reported receiving 69 inches in 6 days in 2010.
A storm is coming.  The dark color of the base of these approaching clouds indicates that they are classified as cumulonimbus, which are typically associated with thunderstorms and showers.
After years of draught, high water on the Bear River near Randolf can be a relief.  The farmers and ranchers in this area rely heavily on this water for their crops and their livelihood.
Ponds created by beaver dams help isolate and protect their lodges, which are made from  branches and mud.  The lodge has underwater entrances to make entry nearly impossibly for any other animal.
Birch Creek near Woodruff, Utah.  High water has caused erosion on it's banks which is damaging the dirt road.
Water structures need to be maintained or they can fail.  This canal broke with disasterous resluts for those lving below it in 2009.
