"TIE 'N THE DELTA TOGETHER" Guitar by artists Catherine and Vincent Joseph

“Music was my refuge. I could crawl into the space between the notes and curl my back to loneliness.” ~ Maya Angelou

The hometown of B.B. King (blues musician) has guitars popping up around its city. It’s part of the Indianola Harmony Project. The artists named this one "Tie"N Delta Together" because of the positive impact of workforce training.

"Jody Moor, Indianola Chamber President and a Vice President with Planters Bank commented, “I am delighted the Capps Center decided to participate in the Indianola Harmony Project. This was our seventh unveiling and each Harmony Guitar is unique. I am amazed by the creativity of our artist, each one of them has done an excellent job of designing the guitar to match the owner‟s vision. Josh Vincent did a perfect job depicting how our Capp Center serves our Delta Region using icons representing different business sectors which benefit from the services." ~ Reprinted text from here: http://www.msdelta.edu/mdcc/pr/2012/capps-anniv.pdf
