In a single day, I helped on a shoot at the 6th Floor Museum in Dallas, where I observed rarely-seen artifacts from the JFK assassination; I saw Google Glass for the first time and tried (unsuccessfully) to use it; and I made new friends in Addisson while watching the Kaboom Town fireworks from the roof of a parking garage.
I won't mention the part where Jon Schubert slipped and fell in front of everyone in an elevator. I'd hate to embarrass him. It was hilarious, but I won't bring it up here.
We all hung out at David's place for a bit, having the ultimate party. We watched Sky news and listened to slow jams or something. Eventually we went down to a bar, which was very loud and featured a couple making out heavily in the middle of the room.
We did eat at a nice Bulgarian (according to Jon) sandwich shop with a lovely wait staff. This was a good day.
