My money monitor
09.05.13 - Workspace From the sublime to the ridiculous! Yesterday a beautiful butterfly in brilliant sunshine, today an old fart in the dark :) I haven't done one of these for a long time, a self portrait lit purely by the light from my computer monitor. The camera was resting on a bookshelf, but I was also holding it in my left hand to point it in the right direction because it wouldn't sit right on it's own. I cut a lot of dead space off the top, and do have a tighter crop version, but I like this crop too.
April 30 Although I did have a shoot today, I was in and out so quickly that I neglected to take a picture. It involved a POV shot of an art teacher pretending to critique a painting that I, a supposed student, did. At home I tried really hard to get some work done, but I tried even harder to avoid working. I did get a lot of television watching done, and a TON of internetting. I even had a nice conversation with Amanda, who I feel like I hadn't seen in ages. Yet again, I will likely head to Sleepton Abbey early this night.
