Mesa Arch is a famous spot for landscape photographers, and for good reason. Although I've shot in Utah many times, I didn't manage to shoot Mesa Arch until a trip through Moab and Canyonlands National Park, in November, 2016. I wish I could say that I was the only one shooting on this cold morning, but I was, in fact, one of ten or so photographers who had arisen at an uncomfortably cold and early hour to get this shot. When the sun finally crested the horizon, I knew that my frozen toes were a small price to pay to experience such beauty.
