"Fireweed and the North Cascades"
Let me tell you, fireweed (Epilobium angustifolium) is perhaps THE most difficult flower to photograph in wind. And the extra-tall stalks that are typical in the northwest blow even more than fireweed in other areas. I took many exposures to get this one where they were finally *close* to being still. The wildflowers were growing below the peaks in North Cascades National Park, Washington, USA.
