Mesa Verde Black-on-White Mug

Gray paste, sherd temper, pearly white slip, black carbon paint. Mug that is rounded near the base and tapers to a direct rim. A broad strap handle is fitted to one side. The vessel is covered with angled linear elements of consistent width that terminate in opposing stepped angles.
