Alaska Airlines hosted their annual "The Copper Chef" competition featuring local chefs: Pat Donahue (Anthony's Restaurants), John Howie (John Howie Steak House, Seastar, SPORT), Chris Bryant (Wildfin American Grill), and Master Sgt. Robert Shulman (USAF Reserve/Joint Base Lewis McChord). The very first Copper River Salmon, caught yesterday, arrived in Seattle kick-off the annual season. Judges Jay Buhner (Seattle Mariner Hall of Famer), Mike Fourtner (Deadliest Catch), McChord Command Chief Tony Mack, and Alaska Airlines' VP/Customer Service Airports Jeff Butler tasted and tabulated... the winner? Chef John Howie!
