The Gulls of Niagara
Many different kinds of gulls, ducks and geese numbering in the thousands congregate along the shallow waters of the upper Niagara River. When the hydro plants divert water to the generating stations instead of the falls, the water is much shallower and many more rocks are visible for perches for these birds.

Gold Rush
This was taken yesterday morning when a brief appearance by the sun lit up the bare trees in the background and reflected in the water. This photo shows that you shouldn't always use a circular polarizer when shooting outside. The polarizer reduces glare and reflections, so this would be a diferent image if I took away that golden reflection.

Niagara Falls as the sun rises. This was taken in January, after several days of warm weather. Usually the railings are covered with ice at this time of year, but a brief warming period in January is quite common.
