The Northern Lights and part of the Milky Way at Pemaquid Point Light @ 5:28 AM March 17, 2013.
Osaka, and really almost any major city in Japan, has so many amazingly jam packed narrow urbanscapes like this that it is overwhelming.  What one should I shoot?  How should I shoot it?  What time?  And that doesn’t even get into how difficult it is to try and capture how cool it is on film.  My solutions: shoot only ones with extra cool things (for me in this shot it was the crab on the right, the Ferris Wheel on the left, and the moon) and go for a distinct mood and look when you print it (I went for a alcohol fused / sleep deprived look with a splash of Blade Runner).
