SAC Liss Thomson is an RAF Photographer and is currently based at RAF Marham. She joined the RAF in 2010 initially as a Logistics Mover; no stranger to the military, Liss served seven years in the British Army as a Dental Nurse with postings to Shorncliffe, London, Dhekelia, Winchester, Marchwood and a tour of Iraq for Operation Telic. In 2015 she decided to remuster into the photography branch and pursue her hobby as a job. She has served in several units whilst being in The Royal Air Force; RAF Brize Norton, RAF Odiham and RAF Akrotiri and completed various detachment’s to; Italy, Macedonia, Dubai, Israel and Jordan. Whilst completing Operations Herrick and Kipion.
