One of my favorite places to explore yesterday in Paris was the Opera building, it's such a wonderful mix of opulence and stunning architecture, the likes of which only the 18th century french could produce. I almost wish every place of entertainment looked this grand.

Today I'm off to go see the Champs-Élysées, Eiffel tower and some of the other major landmarks here - it's cloudy and grey right now but I hope the sun will peak through every once in a while - if not I might not come back with a lot of new photos, but at least as a backup I can browse the Christmas market on the Champs-Élysées - either way I can't lose really.

The Paris Opera I went by this building several times before I even thought about going in. For some reason, it never occurred to me that I might actually be able to go inside and take photos! Of course, I really wanted to go inside, so I was happy when Curtis told me that it’s no problem to get in there.Next time, I think I’d like to go on a private tour and get some special angles and whatnot. I did get in trouble for using my tripod, but not bad trouble. Just a little trouble. A little trouble ain’t so bad… - Trey RatcliffClick here to read the rest of this post at the Stuck in Customs blog.
