Big World War II original photograph lot. About a hundred plus pictures of the Allied Forces occupation of Nazi Germany were sitting inside my clients drawers for years. Some unique photos like some of Germany`s weapon infrastructures, destroyed buildings, the top Generals on both sides and many more made this a lot sell for $549.46.
1950`s Mystery Moon Man Toy Robot and Box. This era brought us Japanese toy robots that went around in circles with flashing lights and mechanized sounds. Mint in the box the original owner had this appraised at $100 and luckily never sold it to the dealer. It eventually sold for $2,720.00 and surprisingly the winning bidder just wanted the box!. Vintage toys with their original boxes command a much higher price than one without one, sometimes as much as 500 percent or maybe even more!.
Cesar Chelor Woodworking Plane. Mr. Chelor was an early African American woodworking tool maker doing his trade as a slave and later a free man when his master died. Dropped off to a donation center by an old lady who was cleaning out her deceased husbands estate it was acquired by my client for a couple of bucks, sold for $8,469.99!.
