Do Hummingbirds Sneeze?  It sure looks like this Tyrian Metaltail hummingbird (Metallura tyrianthina) might be allergic to the Tiger Eye Flower Maple it is getting ready to feed off of.  Stock Image #20120608-071847
The Buff-tailed Coronet hummingbird (Boissonneaua flavescens) drinks the nectar of a Tiger Eye Flowering Maple, similar to a Chinese Lantern flower. The Buff-tail is easily identified with its buffy colored tail feathers and short bill.  This species of hummingbird lives around 4500-7200 feet above sea level.  Stock Image #20120611-131420A
