Faded away
Today I played a little more with the photo in Photoshop. Just a little fun while editing :) I don't take credit for the idea to blur parts of a photo like this, as I have seen it by other photographers. I think most recently in a photo by Danny Xeero :) Hope you like the little change from normal :)
Chasing the Sun
"もしもし"
2010年12月30日、ニューヨーク州マンハッタン島のグランドセントラル駅構内。

床は全面大理石のため、冬はとても冷えます。そんな中、半袖の人がいるのがアメリカ。

アメリカ最北端の州アラスカ出身の友達は、冬の平均-5°Cのボルダーで「コロラドはあまり寒くないね」と言っていたのを思い出します。

Phone Call at Grand Central
12/30/2010, in Grand Central Terminal in NYC.

One of my Seven Wonders in the USA was why some people there won’t get cold in winter. In the places like the Terminal which floor is all covered with marble and so it is pretty chilling there are always some people who wear only a T-shirt (and pants, of course.)

This reminds me of one of my friends from Alaska. He said to me, “Colorado is not that cold,” when we were outside in Boulder at around 22°F.

So are such cold-proof people all from Alaska? I just wonder.
Yellow Bridge
I hate it that everywhere the photo looks different, in Lightroom, Photoshop, Smugmug.. on Facebook.. everywhere it's different.. Facebook of course being the worse.. and then on a second monitor it's again different. One would think, that with so few manufactures and big software providers, this could be fixed by now. But I think it will only get worse :) And for those interested, this is the Chain Bridge in Budapest.
