The holiday break is officially over. I went back to work today, but it looks like it’ll still take some time for everything to get back up to speed. Amanda was in town for a meeting, so I came straight from work to meet her at Westridge Manor. After a short trip to Kroger, we were mixing up a delicious custard! While the custard cooled, we set up a backdrop and took some cute birthday pics of Arri. She’s two years old now. Can you believe it?
When we were happy with the puppy shots, we dove straight back into cooking. I found out that I need to buy a thermometer so I can keep track of the temperature of my oil, but other than that, everything went surprisingly well for a first attempt. Everyone seemed to enjoy our churromisu, and all the notes we got were easily attainable. I’m very much looking forward to making these again.
Once each of us had eaten 3-5 churromisus, it was time for a real dinner. Cameron joined the three of us at 940’s. Get the fried chicken. It falls right off the bone and is amazing. What a fun day!
