It exists, it is real, it is possible, it is yours." ~ Ayn Rand, Russian-born American Author I have been creating tablescapes for our kitchen/breakfast nook area since December (2009) when I decorated our table for Christmas. View additional photos of this one and the entire gallery here: http://www.smugmug.com/gallery/11014855_M5W6FW#!i=2559534992&k=rfVmjXK The sunflower chair backs (yes, those are chair backs and not placemats) were my inspiration to set the stage for a spring table setting that's warm and inviting. I paired the golden yellow with its complementary color, green, for a table setting that beckons everyone to gather around. Next, I tied in dishes and ceramic fruit (a lemon and a pear) to bring out the fresh seasonal feel of the sunflowers. After that, I reused the silver napkin rings, green glasses, and the Easter basket (centerpiece for our April table setting), to anchor the center of the table. Finally, after the meal, we sat and sipped..........on fresh, homemade lemonade, of course:). Have a marvelous Monday! ***#7 photo of the day*** (photo taken 6/6/2013)
