I made this picture for my wife to celebrate our 27th anniversary.
This hot air balloon had just landed off course in a field by my house.  The pilot is trying to reign in the balloon before the wind drags it off
On a 10-day business trip to Paris, I had only one late afternoon to myself.  So after walking around shooting the city for 5 hours I finished the day at the Eiffel Tower.  It took another 2 hours to get to the top but this meant that it would be nighttime when I got back down.  How do you come up with a special angle for this often captured icon?
That morning the sun light was illuminating the flower just right for the wasp to wonder what this daylily was hiding.  I used a little vignetting in Lightroom to draw interest to the center of the flower.
