Wild White Rhinocerous (Ceratotherium simum) microchipping and breathing monitoring
This wild white rhinocerous (Ceratotherium simum) is having microchips placed into horn to help trace rhino horn incase of it being poached. As the animal is currently sedated the individual on the right is monitoring the animals breathing to ensure it is ok, as well as the rhino having tis ear knotched. The knotching of the ear allows the animal to be easily identified, with each knotch type representing a number.
