12.02.13 - Lights, Camera, Action..... This is a re-working of an image from a photo walk I led back when we had snow on the ground recently. The arch is called Priorygate, with Lincoln Cathedral to the right. My friend Mark is standing by the arch getting some spectacular shots with a fish eye lens. It is a 6 second exposure to capture the traffic streaming through the arch, and I have applied the "monday morning" filter in color efex pro to create a slight glow and near monochrome.
24.10.12 - Gone to Warp....................... Another shot from the photo walk on Tuesday evening. It is in fact a double decker bus with a 3 second exposure. We'd been shooting traffic coming from right to left, then suddenly the bus appeared from the left, hardly any traffic comes that way. By the time I got the camera down on the wall the bus was part-way through the arch. The start of the yellow streak marks the front of the bus when I pressed the shutter. Thank-you for the comments on my foggy night shot yesterday :)
