PAUL TENNANT Staff photo. At least 50 neighbors of a site where a developer has proposed building 240 apartments attended a hearing before the Zoning Board of Appeals last night. The neighbors voiced concerns about added traffic to their neighborhood as well as wetlands on the property of the former Berry Street Riding Academy. The 27-acre site at 16 Berry St. is close to Route 114. The board continued the hearing until Feb. 26. 1/24/2013.
PAUL TENNANT/Staff Photo. A 12-wheel Coady's Towing truck was needed to pull a Lawrence Tank truck out of a muddy area to the side of Route 114 just east of North Andover Mall yesterday. Called in at around 3:30 p.m., the incident slowed down traffic on the usually busy Route 114 around Waverly Road and caused a backup of several hundred yards. 12/21/12

Ayla Brown, daughter of U.S. Sen. Scott Brown and newscaster Gail Huff, sang and played the guitar for the children of military families at Smolak Farms in North Andover. Besides a host of Christmas melodites, she sang one of her own compositions, "Pride of America."
