Life is Coming up All Rainbows

On July 4th, this was the natural fireworks show we got above our home.
Notes: A rare textbook double rainbow here, one of the best I've seen in some time. See how the fainter secondary rainbow colors are reversed from the primary bow? Also note Alexander's dark band in between the two bows, see how it is darker than in or out? And then perhaps most fascinating to most people is note how underneath the primary bow is extra bright? That's because rainbows are not a discrete series of colored rings, we're talking spherical raindrops projecting out giant discs of light.
