Ramla Bay, Island of Gozo, Malta. A bay that is located north of the island of Gozo, at the bottom of a rich and fertile valley, where most the the island’s vineyards can be found. The beach is particular since its sand is golden-reddish colored, which is totally unique in all the archipelago of Malta. Part of the Bay is a Natura 2000 site, which is an ecological network of protected site throughout the European Union.

During the summer, the beach is crammed because it is a very popular place among both Gozo residents and tourists. However, off-season, there are times when the place is totally quiet, almost abandoned.

This was the view from my first campsite. I took this 10 feet from my tent. Beautiful place (Ramla Beach)
