Small glimpses of light scatter the forest floor as the rustling of leaves breeze by in a gust of wind only felt by the tops of these giant redwoods. At every corner you see another - and ask yourself what could be just beyond. That's the trouble though, knowing when to break and go back to camp. I could turn corners all day just to find out what's "around the riverbed", as they say.
Heading out of Eureka today - not the nicest town in my opinion - lots of vagrants and just feel dirty. Back to the real dirt - the woods.
