"Up Through the Trees" Big Basin Redwoods State Park Nothing like these amazing Redwoods looking straight up! Towering above you it is hard to get a sense of their size! Please share this if you like it with other people! I captured this with my Nikon 14-24mm at 14mm and of course with a Tripod!
"Path Through Big Basin Redwoods" I went hiking with the family up at Big Basin Sate Park this weekend. Did you go anywhere?! It is just an hour away from the Bay Area yet many people haven't been there before! It is one of my favorite places to go since it is so close yet so far away from all these people! It was foggy and cold but it made for a nice hike and not too many people up there. Foggy days are perfect for photographing redwoods. Just another place I would like to be on a Friday afternoon. This is a panorama cropped 1x2 ratio.
"Redwood Braids" Some amazing textures on this Redwood in Big Basin Redwoods State Park It looks like braids of Redwood fibers! Amazing what you can find when you get close to nature! If you look in close you can see the fibers and fine detail! What do you think!?

"Path Through Big Basin Redwoods" I went hiking with the family up at Big Basin Sate Park this weekend. Did you go anywhere?! It is just an hour away from the Bay Area yet many people haven't been there before! It is one of my favorite places to go since it is so close yet so far away from all these people! It was foggy and cold but it made for a nice hike and not too many people up there. Foggy days are perfect for photographing redwoods. Just another place I would like to be on a Friday afternoon.
