The Orange Relation band grew out of the whole popular music movement of the 1960s and 1970s. Many so called garage bands sprang up and duplicated what they heard on their popular small Japanese transistor radios. They played for high school dances and Filipino community events. Shown from left to right are Florante Ibanez, Jerry Rossi Jr., Brian Kelly, and George Rossi. Originally the Orange Relation started out as a Rossi family band with Irma Rossi on drums and Laurene Rossi Hallman on accordion. Here they are captured rocking out at their aunt Grace Abrenica's Housewarming Party. (Courtesy of George Rossi.)
