30.10.12 - On the Waterfront This is a new view for the Dailies, mainly because the glass cube left of centre is a new building. It is a Japanese restaurant built over the water. This is a 2-shot photomerge panorama, both shots were approximately 3 second exposures. Today and tomorrow we're moving house, so commenting will be nigh on impossible, I'll catch you on the other side!

17.05.12 - Riverside This photo was actually taken a couple of weeks ago, but i worked on it to create this sepia version yesterday. My landscapes are often shot at 18mm to get as much of the scene into the image as possible, but occasionally I close in to focus on just one small aspect of it like here. Earlier this week I was honoured to have some of my monchrome work featured in art and design magazine Speckyboy here; http://speckyboy.com/2012/05/16/25-examples-of-monochromatic-photos-and-art/ I haven't been able to comment much lately, but hopefully today I'll have a bit more time to catch up. I'm always a day behind with my posts so my "Purple Challenge" pic will appear tomorrow :)
16.05.12 - After the Flood Down by the river last night, a few minutes before sunset. The water levels have been back to normal for some time now, but there is a lot of debris along the banks and quite a bit of dead vegetation too. The main colour though is green, everything is growing rapidly, especially the nettles!
