Memorial Day weekend tourists on Elephant Rocks. An interesting non-glaciated weathered outcrop of 1.5 billion year old large granite rocks.
Ano Nuevo State Reserve. My first visit to this beautiful beach where there is usually a vast community of Sea Lions, but there were none to be seen.

At Davenport beach the waves were coming in hard. This rock was usually covered with the water but I noticed these little waterfalls when the water receded. I tried a longish exposure to catch the movement of the waves.
That's Pigeon Point Lighthouse in the distance. I was driving home after shooting at Davenport beach and the sky just lit up so I pulled over to this beach to shoot nature's fireworks.
