Gettysburg 2014 - The Gorge
It was across this uneven, boulder-strewn ground, on the second day of the Battle of Gettysburg, that Confederate General John Bell Hood's Division made their approach in order to assault Union positions atop a small prominence known as Litle Round Top. Hood's men began their march at the far tree line visible betwen the two clumps of trees at image left.
