My first time hiking down to Kirby Cove at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge on the Marin Headlands side. Wasn't sure what to expect; definitely didn't expect to see a massive, decaying sea lion carcass washed ashore! To get this shot, not only did I embrace the tide, but I embraced odors I truly didn't think possible. It's a neat little spot but I'm waiting a few weeks until I return, hopefully the aromas will have settled down.
