School supplies to children affected by conflict in East of DR Congo
Cyiza (11) was displaced from Muhanga village in the east of DRC due to armed group conflict that has forced hundreds of children to flee onto Mokoto where NRC provided schools supplies in December 2016 to more than 4796 displaced children through the emergency education program.
Despite the education gaps caused by this conflict, Cyiza is an optimist guy in believe on day return home.
otherwise, he strives to do better in his school and hopefully trust to his dream: "i would like to be a nurse after studies so I can take care of children affected by conflict", he said.
The program aims to help them to study in good conditions.
