Massillon State Hospital
Eastern Ohio Insane Asylum was the original name of what we now know of as Massillon State Hospital. Built in March 31st 1892, it would become the first state hospital in the United States and Canada. Now only two original buildings remain. This is called the Mansion. Through my research, I was unable to find out what this building is used for.
There are many stories of the hospital being haunted. Is there anyone out there who has witnessed any strange events that you could share?
