Hairpin The very steep, the very vertiginous and the very hairy single track road which crosses the island from Uig to Staffin
The Quaraing If I'd seen old Bilbo and his kin here I would not have expressed any surprise! Middle-Earth here in Scotland!

Skye in Fall (that nearly works!!) We spent hours here, hours and hours the most otherwordly setting I think we've ever found ourselves in - the magnificent and timeless Trotternish peninsula
The Quaraing (i) Some sheep have no shame - I was gobsmacked here literally speechless not at the sheep, silly, at the view - the view!
Evidence Of what? A settlement, a bothy, a shed - who knows and perhaps its good not to know.
Towers of Skye How did this start??? there are hundreds of these wee towers all set in a jumble of water tossed boulders along the coast - with a delightful view across to Lewis and Harris - nice.

"The Dark Pass" This is the viewing the staircase to the viewing platform for Australia's iconic wave "The pass" in Byron Bay. The bright glowing area on the Horizon is the Gold Coast which is about 100km's away. The pass, and indeed Byron, are located at the most eastern location in Australia.
