January 29, 2013 - The Denver Colorado region got a welcomed snow fall during the evening of the 28th, and in the morning the snow covered trees and mountains looked amazing. I took a bit of an extended lunch during my work day on the 29th to photograph some of the freshly fallen snow landscapes. The white snow contrasted by the red rocks and green pine trees inspired me to capture this scene.
January 4, 2013 - This was the first work day for me in the New Year - yeah, bummer that the 4th was a Saturday. At any rate, this was the scene that I saw when I drove up to my office building - the morning crew busily working away. What a sight!! This was a huge herd of Elk just grazing away. Pretty cool, huh!

January 27, 2013 The Glory Hole (2011) * This is one of my favorite spots to photograph in Jasper. You can go here at any time of day and come away with great images. Of course, sunrise and sunset are the ideal time to go, offering many stunning images. For the next few days I will be posting images from this location, taken over the last four years. It is never the same from one year to the next. There was a quite a bit more snow on this trip, as opposed to the fall-like setting pictured yesterday. The Glory Hole (2011)

* This is one of my favorite spots to photograph in Jasper. You can go here at any time of day and come away with great images. Of course, sunrise and sunset are the ideal time to go, offering many stunning images.

For the next few days I will be posting images from this location, taken over the last four years. It is never the same from one year to the next.

There was a quite a bit more snow on this trip, as opposed to the fall-like setting pictured yesterday.
