Superposition (SR#33)
Another shot of the sunrise's reflection and the woods and river seen directly through a partially opened window. This is more confused, and has more of an abstract feel, to me, than the one I posted to my DailyPhotos gallery.

The rising sun and the surrounding bright sky are reflected off the inside of a partially open window, while the woods that lie directly in front of me remain in shadow.

I love the woods behind our house, but the trees do pretty much block our views of sunrises, moonrises, and the river at the foot of the hill. Still, there was plenty of color on this morning.

This sunrise came with a nearly complete rainbow of colors. The only one missing was green.

On this morning there was stunning color in the low clouds on the southeastern horizon, where the sun comes up these days. In addition, there were bright contrails from jets arriving and departing Detroit Metro airport, which lies approximately due east from our house, about 20 miles away aw the crow flies.
